Social startups aren’t always quite like other startups. But that’s no news to you. In SoPact, one big question to figure out for a few of the SoPact’ers is the one about company form, or rather forms of organization. A question where the usual answer hasn’t been the right one for some of them.
A few weeks ago we therefor brought in Coompanion and the Center for Public Entrepreneurship to host a lunch seminar revolving around that question. Focusing on the forms of organization that are not usually chosen by startups, but often suitable for social startups, the seminar targeted an important question and came in at the right time.
The presentation was followed by a workshop about how social startups and innovations can get the support they need. A workshop that was full of great discussion and important insights.
